I'M HOOOMEEE!
Yes! I’m home! Here, in Iligan! Hahaha! Just arrived yesterday late afternoon at around 5pm. I traveled on my own from UP to the airport. Rode the jeep to the MRT station, took the MRT from Quezon Ave ‘til the last station, Taft then took the shuttle to the airport. The flight got delayed. We were supposed to take-off at 12:50nn but due to air traffic and some communication problems,...
A Prayer

Cherished Connections
#7 August 12, 2011
Those who know Jesus Christ as their Savior have very strong ties. We are forever connected to Him and to one another. “We, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another,” Paul says.
When we get together with fellow believers, we have the opportunity to talk about the one we love - Christ - and of the love, forgiveness, and grace...

Copy Me
#6 August 11, 2011
Paul invited others to copy his example (1 Cor. 11:1). In this verse, he concluded his discussion from Chapter 10 about the Corinthians loving others enough to limit their freedom. He said that when they were invited to a nonbeliever’s home for dinner, they were free to eat what was set before them (v.27). But if their freedom to eat the meat offered to idols caused...

Gloating at the Enemy

Obadiah is the shortest book in the Old Testament. Yet hidden away in its brief record is a vital question that affects us all: How should we respond when we see an enemy experience misfortune?
If someone has repeatedly been hurtful to us,...

The Life That Matters
#4 August 9, 2011
Isaac Hann was a little-known pastor who served a small church in England in the mid-18th century. At the close of his ministry, the membership of the church numbered merely 26 women and 7 men.
In this age of mass media and mega-churches who would consider this a successful work? Hann would today be considered as on of those pastors who never quite “made it.”

A Gnat Lesson
#3 August 8, 2011
The pagan priests of the Pharaoh of Egypt prided themselves in frequent washings and shavings but after the Plague of Gnats sent by God they were now covered with numerous insect bites. God has designed this plague to get Pharaoh to repent and let Israel go, but instead he hardened his heart.
Is God trying to get your attention through some circumstances in your life? Is...

Not-So-Productive, Productive Day!
I just had a super productive day! Although I did nothing academic-related today. Considering the fact na Midterms week na! But I did do house-chores (Err, I mean room-chores, if there’s such a thing.) Cleaned my room; finished my mini-laundry; rid my electric fan of black, yucky dust; read 15 chapters of my current novel; took a good 3hr nap in the afternoon and I went to Church plus ate...

What's it all about?
#2 August 7, 2011
Recently I was in a crowded shopping area when I saw a woman plowing her way through the crowd. What intrigued me was the message on her T-shirt, which read IT’S ALL ABOUT ME. Her actions reinforced the words on her shirt.
I’m afraid she’s not alone. That message is declared by so many men and women today that it could be the motto of the modern world....
